Summerhouse Grill was located in the amazing little town of Montrose, Pennsylvania. The county seat of rural Susquehanna County, Montrose boasts a quaint traditional downtown anchored by our striking Courthouse, built in 1853. Right next to the Courthouse sits the Town Green, a meeting place for residents of and visitors to Montrose for centuries.
In and around Montrose are a variety of activities – no matter what it is you like to do to play. Antique and furniture stores, gift and home decor shoppes, galleries, independent book stores, health food and pet stores, a bridal boutique and an old-fashioned gourmet chocolate shop – all are in the walkable downtown. Also downtown are the movie theatre, the library, and the historical society (call about their historic walking tour brochures!).
Just on our outskirts roll beautiful farmlands, an amazing watershed of lakes and streams, and of course, Salt Springs State Park – perfect for an afternoon hike. Come to explore for the day, or really dig in and stay a while!
